The WordPress MU Domain Mapping(...) plugin enables individual sites in a WordPress Multisite installation to have their own domains. Bobbing Wide have used this in a number of installations. It requires a tiny amount of work during installation – copying a file and editing wp-config.php but otherwise it’s fairly easy to set up.
